A non-profit professional interested in Latin America, recycling, and sharing great times with friends. Looking for a centered intellectual person who can cut loose and is interested in sharing friends, family, and creative ideas towards change.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who is thoughtful, intellectual, active, motivated, self-suffcient, has self-esteem, loves life, and has strong connections with friends/and or family. Someone who has their "cake fully baked" and wants to put the icing on top with a loving, caring, stable, and adventurous relationship.
The last great book I read "Heat" by Bill Buford, staff writer for the New Yorker. His venture into learning "real italian kitchen" from Mario Batali and many mentors in Italy . His story telling and insight into the trials and tribulations of becoming a chef are entertaining and insightful.
My most humbling moment When I lied and said I could drive a stick during Huricane Mitch in El Salvador (1998), when people needed to get to the hospital and I couldn't help as much as I had wanted to.
The celebrity I resemble the most No one has ever mentioned one
The best or worst lie I've ever told "Sure, I can drive a stick"
If I could be anywhere right now At arca de Noe, on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
Five items I can't live without Water, friends, reading material, NPR, hiking shoes
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. caring is sexy, compassion is sexier
In my bedroom one will find... lots of books, everything that fits in my only closet, water, pictures of loved ones, and art.
