I am sincere. I am funny. I am easy to know. I desire many things, including interesting and robust relationships. I have a lot going on, but not too much. I manage to find adventures in the midst of living a centered, productive life. I love the people close to me. I admire strong personalities. I strive for a graceful existence. Lastly, I dream big.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who also dreams big. Someone who appreciates the intricacies of other people's lives. Someone who is inspired. Someone who is strong. Someone who knows what he wants and is ready to make that happen. Someone who did not list an alcoholic beverage as one of the 5 items he can't live without.

The last great book I read Not the most recent books i have read, but some of my favorites: Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, The Story of the Eye by Bataille, Lolita by Nabokov, Windup Bird Chronicles by Murakami, Camera Lucida by Barthes, The Little Prince, Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.
My most humbling moment So many from which to choose. Being turned away from giving blood after September 11th (the hospitals had enough of my blood type) and wondering how I could help would be one of those moments.
Favorite on-screen sex scene I'm enjoying Isabella Rossellini's Green Porno.
The celebrity I resemble the most None that I know of. Some people have said Isabella Rosellini and Lulu Brooks, but that was when I had a bob haircut. Oh, and Kate Winslet.
The best or worst lie I've ever told I try not to tell lies, mostly because I can't live with the (Irish Catholic and Jewish) guilt.
If I could be anywhere right now I several years ago I visited Oman for a few days, and would love to go back. I also *really* want to go to Morocco, Iceland, India and Japan.
Five items I can't live without The New Yorker magazine Mineral water Sushi Downtime My friendships
