The first 18 years of my life were spent in La Ceiba, a beach town on the north coast of Honduras. Things the family did for fun were hiking and insect collecting with my dad; river rafting and camping; and put puzzles together. The one thing I did miss out on was scuba diving at the Bay Islands. Something I hope to achieve one day.
My cultural background is a mix (dad’s from Ohio and mom’s Honduran), remind me to tell you a funny story about the Spamish. College years were spent in College Station, TX. Yes, that makes me an Aggie and would appreciate hearing a good joke, if you have one. I left all those Howdys behind, spent 3 years running a beach resort in my hometown, then moved to DC thinking it would just be a transition, and find myself enjoying the east coast for 8 years now.
Although I am very happy with what I’ve accomplished in life thus far, I would like to meet someone who can add an extra dash of spice to the everyday routine. I’m looking for a man who is proud of the work he does and is also able to find time to enjoy the finer things in life. These include but are not limited to: spending time with friends and family, going on weekend trips and extended vacation travel, cooking and dining out.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who can enjoy a traditional date as well as some outdoor activities. Someone who feels comfortable meeting people and engages in conversation. I want to meet a man who is well established in his profession and makes time to enjoy life. It's a great plus if this man also has some cooking skills...not necessarily professional...just amateur enough to make a tasty meal.
