(If you have an idea what show my headline is from, we are off to a good start.)
I am a high school teacher who recently moved to New York. I live in Brooklyn and love how much there is to do in the area. Especially free outdoor things.
I love doing anything outside. In New York, I like to go running, but my favorite thing to do is get outside the city and go hiking/backpacking. In the winter, I like cross-country skiing; it's easier for me than downhill, since I'm very clumsy.
My ideal Saturday in New York would be to get up, have coffee and read the paper, eat a delicious breakfast (which means there would be bacon involved), go running, visit Fort Greene's farmers market, and eventually end up at a quieter restaurant where you can sit forever, eat desserts, and drink sangria.
I think I am a passionate, slightly quirky person. I like to laugh hard and believe deeply in my ideals.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking to meet someone to have fun in New York with. If you can laugh at yourself and the absurdities of life, then we should meet.
The last great book I read Love in the Time of Cholera
If I could be anywhere right now Running the Turnagain Trail along the Seward Highway.
Five items I can't live without Coffee, gmail, Arrested Development, running shoes, and fun colored gel pens.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Men that make me pee my pants laughing are sexy... Bearded men are sexier.
