If I were a superhero I would have two powers. The first one is an ability to figure out most people from a very limited amount of social interaction, and the second is my uncanny sense of direction. However, since I am not a superhero, while these abilities are marginally useful, they are not entirely reliable. I have a friend who has the superpower of being able to pick the best thing on a menu, that seems much more useful than my abilities. I used to be able to read in cars, which was arguably my best almost superpower, but that I have since lost that ability and now feel rather ill just sitting in the back seat. In addition to an extensive amount of reading (now no longer conducted in vehicles, sadly) I particularly enjoy hiking, climbing, dancing, long car rides to nowhere, Guitar Hero, and watching episodic television. While I am not generally one to plan an event, I do love participating and think that all of my favorite activities are more fun with company than on my own.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a guy for whom I will be willing to give up my free time in order to spend it with him. The type of guy who could get me to put a hold on some of my lamer but still greatly enjoyed activities would a) not think my activities are lame b) enjoy chatting about life, the universe, and pop culture, and c) be intellectually curious and have a sense of humor. Other relatively important traits are having an active nature and a sense of independence.
The last great book I read "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman
My most humbling moment Im going to have to think about this one.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Well, there is a BBC production of "Moll Flanders" that has a pretty hilarious moment when one of the characters yells "Praise the Lord" when he comes, and I always thought it was pretty great.
The celebrity I resemble the most I recently realized that if you combined Anna Paquin's face with Clare Danes' nose that would be me.
The best or worst lie I've ever told I once told a teacher I had narcolepsy in an attempt to score extra nap time. My teacher did not believe me.
If I could be anywhere right now I have had a hankering to visit London lately, a very strong hankering.
Five items I can't live without I cannot live without books, music, Snapple, chips and salsa, and my phone (because I need it to earn a living).
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Smart is sexy; thinking is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... Antique furniture, many books, a bookshelf I built, an ottoman known as "The Beast" and a few very small pieces of original artwork.
