equal parts fun, funny and dorky. can be the life of the party or have a long, deep analytical discussions with an old guy from rotterdam at a bar - that happened recently. i'm comfortable in my own skin. i'm a loyal and generous friend (sometimes to a fault).
i'm the product of growing up with 2 older brothers & accustomed to what they do to little sisters. i can easily get along with most people. i'm happy having beers and watching baseball or playing atari, but also love an indie film at bam, heading to see a show or drinking wine over a long meal.
because of my brothers, i can bait my own hook, fix a garbage disposal, hang a flat screen and stick up for myself, but can also can be pretty girly.
i went to catholic school until college so i have developed an affinity for dark, sardonic humor. how can you avoid that when forced to read the bible?
would love (since the season is close) someone to go snowboarding with and maybe who can give me some suggestions on where to go in the alps? i'm heading there in february.

i'm pretty open to most people, but definitely can't stand when people snap at waitstaff or don't give up seats on the subway to old ladies. looking for someone that has a sense of humor. really. moved to brooklyn after living in oregon for 7 years so someone very chill would be pretty great too.
The last great book I read
Just finished The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand ... again after
many years. Really love Toni Morrison, John Irving and
JD Salinger, but alsolike Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahniuk
and Roddy Doyle. I have sort of a dark comedic side ... that's
where Six Feet Under, Dexter and Irvine Welsh come in.
