I do my best to live every day to the fullest. To enjoy all of life's ups and downs. And to be open to new possibilities.
My friends love me because I am a great listener, I am loyal and, most importantly, I am a great cook and host to numerous dinner parties each month. Although you will rarely find me in a bar, I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine (or prosecco) lounging on my back deck or in front of my fireplace.
My career is important to me. I started a small business a couple of years ago, and I really love what I do. It does take up a lot of my time, but I've found a good balance between work and play which allows me to throw myself into running my business and into enjoying the finer things in life, such as hiking/camping, cooking, practicing yoga, dabbling in photography, taking long runs or bike rides, getting lost in modern architecture magazines/books, reading The Economist, attempting the Sunday NYTimes crossword, reading, movie watching....
As a Holistic Health Counselor I help people become happier and heathier through nutrition counseling. It is a lot more involved than that, but in a nutshell that is what I do. I make it a priority to keep healthy, I eat well and exercise regularly and it is important that the men I date do too (at least to some extent).
My perfect date: A walk through the Mt. Auburn Cemetery followed by pancakes at the Deluxe Towne Diner. Yum!
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who is honest and a open and comfortable communicator. Someone whose idea of a great night doesn't include a bar and multiple drinks. Someone who can kick my tush in Scrabble, keep up with me on hikes, go tandem kayaking, knows his way around the kitchen and keeps up with current events.
The celebrity I resemble the most On an almost daily basis someone, somewhere (the gym, the market, on the T...), tells me that I look like Reese Witherspoon.
If I could be anywhere right now Ka'anapali Beach (Maui).
