Greetings fellow adventurous ones. I am a woman with a grand heart and wide smile. I approach my life with an emotional and intellectual curiousity, awareness, playfulness and compassion. I have been described as being vibrant, warm, playful, intuitive, disarming (in a good way), smart, sexy, youthful, radically honest, compassionate, trustworthy and a damn good kisser.
I am originally from the East Coast and still feel those roots running through me as evidenced by my directness (polite though), appreciation of the aesthetics and a constant craving for New York style pizza. However, the Bay Area is my home and you will also find me hugging trees, food shopping with my recycled canvas shopping bags and going to a kirtan with Krishna Das. Oh, yes, and there was a moment when I was a massage therapist. An urban/earthy/exotic/conscious woman one could say.
Doing my part to make this world just a little bit more loving, sane and beautiful is important to me. I have a background in social work and currently work in the field of child welfare. I have the privilege and honor of working for a fantastic nation-wide organization that positively influences child welfare research, policy and practice on a national level.
For play I enjoy "serious" laughter with good friends or actually a stranger in the grocery store will do as well. Listening to and discovering new music is soul food for me. I love to sing as well -- kinda feels like a massage from the inside out. I enjoy learning and discovery and find myself wanting to know a bit about just everything. Going for a long beautiful hike among redwood trees fills me just right. And I when I get the opportunity I love to dance into a trance.
I also engage myself in the spiritual dimension of this life through an awareness and observation of that which cannot be seen, but felt, noticing the beauty and wonder in the small and big.
I was born in 1964 and I changed my birth info so as to be captured in a broader range of searches. I have been told numerous times that I appear younger than my actual years -- good genes and self-care. Actually, in the last month, the relevance of my age came up with 3 different people and all 3 thought I was in my 30s. No trickster here, honesty and integrity are very important to me.
My Ideal Person:
I have been blessed to have had amazing and wonderful people in my life. And for different reasons, the road parted. I want a man that is kind, thoughtful, confident, assertive, interested and interesting. He knows the value of being fully present in the moment but also plans for the future. He is also intelligent, warm and enjoys finding any opportunity to laugh. He enjoys receiving and giving physical affection and long juicy loving and kissing. He enjoys pondering the wonders and mysteries of the universe along with me. He knows that we are all connected and share this planet together and does his part, however big or small, to make it better. He is self-directed and independent. He values his health and well-being and overall has good self-care skills. I don't seek perfection just an openness and willingness to grow and learn. Someone who will be my warrior of the heart and I shall in return do the same.
So I could go on, words are wonderful, limiting and open to so much projection. And as we all know it ultimately lies in that mysterious thing called chemistry. If there is mutual interest, I think we should just meet and feel and see what we can't here on-line. Cheers!
The last great book I read Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson -- Inspiring!
My most humbling moment Being with my mother and brother as they passed over to the other side (I know not a light one, but definitely the must humbling).
Favorite on-screen sex scene Hmmmmmm, some that come to mind: Unbearable Lightness of Being, Walk on the Moon and Faithful.
The celebrity I resemble the most Oh now this is a really important question.
The best or worst lie I've ever told Your performance was....interesting....really.
If I could be anywhere right now The precious present is what resonates with me. Not that I wouldn't mind travelling to Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Morocco, Brazil, Peru, Indonesia, Thailand or India. Or blissed out in nature somewhere or being in the arms of my beloved.
Five items I can't live without Without taking this question so literally, I really enjoy: The warmth and laughter of good friendship, listening to music that tickles my soul, head, heart and feet, delicious food, regular visits with the Great Mother (nature) and discovering new places and ideas.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Soulful eyes are sexy[~!=]soulful eyes with luscious lips is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... Comfort, warmth, lots of interesting dreams to tell and me.
