I finally moved back to Brooklyn and am enjoying the park once again. Before my latest stint in the New York area, I was up in Boston for a few years. I really enjoy going to shows, playing music (my bass & assorted instruments are gathering less dust as I try to find more to do with them), listening to music (my taste is broad, and usually comes just shy of modern country), design, art, coffee, bars, and nearly anything else New York throws at me. I tend to have more fun in pubs/bars instead of ritzy/stuffy clubs, but I'll give nearly anything a try. To sum it up, I'd say that I'm fairly easy-going, honest, and of course I like to laugh... which seems to be what nearly everyone else on this thing enjoys as well.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who's fun, more liberally minded, likes to explore the city and other places (that's right, there's a world outside the city!), and has a sense of humor! Someone who enjoys getting out to see a band every so often and wouldn't mind introducing me to a new thing or two. Honesty, appreciating sarcasm, and having a sharp wit are all pluses, but being too quick to interrupt or judge isn't.
My most humbling moment Just one? These moments occur on a daily basis for me, but I think the trick is being able to not take them too seriously.
The best or worst lie I've ever told I hardly lie, but, I've had people tell me that I should give it a try to avoid awkward conversations/situations :) Still working on that one though.
If I could be anywhere right now In a large house-full of friends (new and old) nearby a beach far from the States.
Five items I can't live without 1. Friends 2. Family 3. iPod (music) 4. Liquids (trips to get coffee & trips to bars) 5. An occasional break from the hustle & the bustle. -With all this said, it's always nice to have a break from those things you think you need the most only so you can appreciate them more in the end... or at least that's the way I see it sometimes... this probably shouldn't apply to point #4.
