I'm a junior high school science teacher. I see live, local music as often as possible (mostly on the east side). I'm a crafty girl who would follow Okkervil River to the ends of the earth. What more do you really need to know??
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who sees the pointlessness of it all, but still keeps their purpose in mind. Someone who has a tortured soul (but only some of the time!). I want someone who can hold my interest and never let it go. Someone who can knock me out with a kiss, who's not afraid of me, or anyone else-especially not afraid of themselves. Do you think that's asking too much?
The last great book I read The Unbearable Lightness of Being, A Confession by Tolstoy, A Heartbreaking work of Staggering Genius, Anything by Chuck Klostermann, Simone Debeauvoir, David Sedaris, or Jane Austen.
My most humbling moment Seeing kids wear the same styles and listen to the same music that I did 20 years ago, and think they are so original and I am so old! Teaching junior high is a humbling experience every day! (In one way or another)
Favorite on-screen sex scene Bret and Lisa in Flight of the Conchords....where he feels violated and takes a shower with his clothes on afterward- Hilarious!
The celebrity I resemble the most who knows?
The best or worst lie I've ever told I seriously try not to lie....I'm sure I have, especially when I was younger....but I can't think of any right now.
If I could be anywhere right now Paris, France
Five items I can't live without music my cat-Betsey my sister friends love
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. knowing what you want is sexy; knowing how to get it is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... Pictures of Jean-Michel Basquiat's artwork , candles, books, clothes, shoes, music, and my cat-Betsey.
